Villages Seeking Consultant for New Waste Contract

Several NCVOA member villages in the Town of Hempstead have decided to send out a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a consultant to assist them with a new solid waste disposal contract.
The original contract expires in August 2009 which, in municipal years, is just around the corner. The Village of Malverne has assumed the responsibility of lead agent and will take the appropriate steps to ensure the RFP is correctly administered.
