The NCVOA will have the pleasure of hearing first hand from one of Albany’s insiders. Mr. Harrison will take out time from his busy day to brief us on the progress being made in Albany in this Legislative session. He will also inform the village governments on how best use the Governor’s regional office to raise and pursue regional matters. He would also like to hear the problems confronting Long Island municipalities.

And a Good Time Was Had By All

For those of our members that did not have an opportunity to attend our Annual Dinner/Testimonial on May 8, 2008 we are sorry to tell you that you missed a heck of a good party.

We would like to thank Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi and Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto for honoring us by their presence and for their very articulate remarks relating to the challenges and responsibilities that village officials face in their daily operations. They were also very gracious in their appreciation of the accomplishments that Mayor James Altadonna played in his role as s our President in the 2998-2009 NCVOA year.

Please click on “Full Story” to read Mayor Altadonna’s acceptance remarks to the occasion.
