We realize that many of our villages will not be able to journey to Albany on Monday, November 10, 2008 for NYCOM’s Winter Legislative meeting.
As the NCVOA President, Nancy Zolezzi and the Executive Director Warren Tackenberg will be in attendance, we will send you a “blast” email ASAP so that you may appreciate the issues that the NYCOM membership finds important enough to address in the State 2009 fiscal year.
The most recent election results most certainly changes the dynamics and political landscape of Albany and it may not be business as usual. The very fact that the State is looking at a huge deficit in 2009 will bring about changes that we had better be prepared to recognize and plan accordingly.
